Couple: Caroline and Andy

We met 22 years ago during our first weeks at university and have always been close friends but it took until last year for us to get together. The wedding took place in The Cotswolds in the UK and our university friends were all there to share it with us. It was Caroline's idea for the dance which we choreographed together during the weeks leading up to the wedding. Everybody thinks Caroline had to get Andy to do it but he didn't need any persuasion at all! We had a brilliant time both rehearsing and on the day, and ended up doing the dance twice.

Veronica and Matthew got married on June 02, 2012 at the Industry Hills Expo Center in Industry, Hills CA.

We met at Calvary Chapel Santa Fe Springs…our home church. We both shared mutual friends and often saw each other while serving and attending church. All it took was for Veronica to go out of her way and say “hello” to me one Sunday after church. I will never forget the sparkle in my eye that day. We started to exchange messages on Facebook messages back and forth and then started to date each other a few weeks later.  After much prayer on both of our parts, we heard the Lord's voice clear that He had prepared us for each other!

The proposal...
The proposal happened in New York City on top of the Rockefeller Center building! It was a beautiful night. We had an AMAZING view of New York City from 70 stories high. The proposal happened on October 11, 2011 just before midnight. I waited until the entire observation deck cleared out prior to dropping to one knee. We had just finished reading the Bible and doing our daily devotion on a nearby bench. I asked Veronica to join me to pray at the edge of the observation deck, overlooking NYC’s breathtaking view. Afterward, I began to express to Veronica what she and her daughters’ meant to me. (Veronica was widowed with two daughters from her deceased husband.  Nevaeh is 7 and Zoe is 3, I am in the process of legally adopting both of them! J) How grateful to the Lord I was for them. Veronica seemed somewhat confused as to why I was getting all mushy and emotional. Especially, since the security guard on duty was pressuring us to leave. It was closing time. Veronica was still somewhat confused, but she did her best to stay focused. I then got down on one knee. I think Veronica was literally in shock! She was so caught off guard that after she said, YES, she threw my arms around me and wouldn’t let go. I don’t think I have ever been hugged so tightly in my life. I had to pry her off of me. At the end of the night, in New York City, 70 stories up, on top of the Rock, it was just the two of us. Well…there was also a security guard and two of our friends. Nevertheless, it was extremely intimate and very romantic! Unquestionably, a night the two of us will never forget! http://www.mandv.gettingmarried.us/Engagement_Slideshow.htm

The video Idea...
The big group entrance and dance was my idea!  I always knew that I wanted to a big wedding party dance and Veronica was totally on board.  As we asked our family and friends to be apart of our wedding party, we let them know about the dance and the commitment we were going to need from them.  There were a few people that the commitment of practicing with a choreographer would be too much for them and decided not to be part of the wedding party.  We totally understood their decisions as we knew what we wanted and didn't want it to be a burden to anyone.  We had so much fun practicing; it united our entire wedding party.  Also, we had my friend, Chris Dupre, who is one of the best choreographers in the business as our choreographer.  He was so patient with all of us and he made it so much fun!!!

This is the best Father Daughter Wedding Dance we have ever seen! Bride Ashley Richmond and her father David Sparks went all out with their dance and it was well choreographed. Their wedding dance video has since gone viral with over 1 million views. The father daughter duo are from Texas and practiced their dance 2 times a week for a month and a half.

The songs used in their dance was a mix of old school and new songs, starting with My Girl by The Temptations and ending with Single Ladies by Beyonce. Ashley and David recently appeared on Good Morning America recreating their dance live on television in Times Square New York. Below is the original wedding dance video and the video of their appearance on GMA.

My sister and her husband got married on September 2009 in the Co Mayo ,Ireland. As a surprise some of the bridesmaids and some of the guests did a dance to Footloose. The couple's names are Susan O' Hara (now Finnerty!) and Kevin Finnerty. The grooms face was priceless especially with the surprise at the end!

Hope you like it,
The Maid of Honour

Another awesome dance from the TLC Rock the Reception series. A very well choreographed dance with lots of energy and hype. The bride and groom along with bridal party took part in this great dance. There was lots of excitement and they all had fun, choosing the right music helps to get everyone into the dance mood. They danced to "The Way I Are" by Timberland.

Find music fast on iTunes. Search for any artist, song, or album on the store.

We had our Civil Partnership on 24 October 2008 - we are both big Sound of Music fans and wanted to do something special, so we picked the song which is the first moment you really see that the Captain and Maria are falling in love.

All self taught from the film and practice in our lounge (moving the coffee table out to the kitchen) - being Star Wars fans Keeley also choose to wear a Princess Leia wig!

It was great fun and everyone loved it.

A very funny wedding dance, the Bride with the Bridesmaids dance for the Groom as he is seated in front of them. They danced to crazy by Britney Spears. Then in a surprise the Groom with the Groomsmen dance for the Bride in the same way, they danced to Sexy back by Justin Timberlake. Lots of fun and laughs in this video.

heineken wedding danceIf you're wondering, "is this video real?" ... no it is not real, this "Bad" Wedding dance is part of the Know The Signs campaign by Heineken. It was created as a viral video. It shows a drunk woman in a red dress who clearly had too much to drink and is becoming a scene at the wedding party. She eventually goes to swing on the pole that is holding the tent up and pulls the pole down causing the tent to collapse on everyone, and leaving the bride with a bloody nose. Drink Responsibly.

Monika & Nicholas were married 5/31/08 and put together this amazing dance which was a surprise to all their guests! The couple is dancing to "Sing Sing Sing" by Benny Goodman & His Orchestra. They did an awesome job, very professional.

At Julie and Dave's wedding, Julie and her Dad danced very serious for the first two verses of "I Loved Her First." Then they broke out into the Apache Dance.

This is an interesting Wedding Dance that was video taped by AlDee Productions. The couple did not want to do the traditional introductions at the wedding reception. The Groom and Bride both entered to music, they then started to ballroom dance which was then changed to a Hip Hop dance to Crank That by Soulja Boy. They did a good job, the video is very popular on YouTube.

Pam and Jim are finally married! and what a wedding it was... The Bridal party recreated the JK Wedding Entrance Dance, they danced down the isle to Forever by Chris Brown. An awesome episode from one of the best TV shows "The Office". Here is the dance scene of the Wedding Ceremony, it is hilarious.

This is the wedding dance scene from the movie Hitch starring Kevin James, Will Smith, and Eva Mendes. This scene appears at the end of the movie Hitch. The couples are dancing to "Now That We Found Love" by Heavy D And The Boyz. It is a very funny scene as the couples do some hilarious dance moves.

Hitch Plot- While helping his latest client woo the fine lady of his dreams, a professional "date doctor" finds game doesn't quite work on the gossip columnist with whom he's smitten.

This is one of the best Thriller Wedding Dances we have ever seen. The Groomsmen did a great job on the dance moves and their timing was good. You can tell they put a lot of effort into choreographing the dance. The dance was done at the wedding reception. Great Job Guys!

Get The Thriller Album:

We decided to post a tribute to the late Patrick Swayze who recently passed away from Pancreatic Cancer. Patrick was well known for his awesome dance skills in the movie Dirty Dancing. His dance with Jennifer Grey has influenced many wedding dances and taught us the passion of dancing. Here is video of a couple doing a wedding dance tribute to Dirty Dancing.

The internet sensation JK Wedding Entrance Dance has yet again spawned more recreations and Parodies. Here are two videos of the popular Wedding Dance being recreated.

It takes just a few seconds for anybody watching it to smile and keep smiling. A wedding party in a Saint Paul Minnesota Church, seven bridesmaids, five groomsmen, and four ushers dancing their way up the isle. The groom Kevin Heinz then tumbling to the head of the procession and bride Jill Peterson boogieing her way to holy matrimony with her bouquet thrust high. Everyone was clearly having the time of their lives and inviting all who were watching to really share the moment. And they did, not just in the church, but through the latest must see video. After Kevin posted it online, as he told the Today's show, he posted it for Jill's father and family, then the video Exploded. And did it ever, the Today's show appearance added a publicity turbo thrust that made it a story everyone raced to cover.

Then a return engagement on the Saturday's Today's show, the whole wedding party recreating the performance they rehearsed but once. It's no longer a new phenomenon, if there's video of something unique or surprising enough it will spark an Internet wild fire, Susan Boyle the voice of an angel and now this wedding video that's so appealingly human, has to be irresistible. The JK Wedding Dance gets you right in the gut, you get that buzz, you get that juiced up, jacked up feeling of joy and it comes through the dancing.

In this wedding dance video you can see unfettered happiness and friendship, the version of friendship you would want there to be on a couple's wedding day. How many eager witnesses, on Youtube alone over eight million views and counting.

jk wedding dance entranceJill Peterson and Kevin Heinz are both 28 and from Minnesota. Jill danced growing up and in college, she told Meredith Vieira and Matt Lauer on the Today's show that she "loved dance as a way to express yourself and share joy." The wedding dance entrance was jill's idea, and everyone went along with it.

Jill and Kevin met when Kevin’s childhood friend, Jeff, married Jill’s college friend, Ann, in 2005. They were both in the wedding party. Jill could not resist Kevin’s wit and charm. Kevin could not resist Jill’s intellect, nor her remarkable dance moves.

Kevin said this about posting the video on youtube, "I put it up because her dad had been really harassing me to get it out to some of his other family members, and it exploded," Heinz said. The video has over 2 million hits on youtube.

Jill and Kevin's popular Wedding Entrance Dance. They are dancing to the song "Forever" by Chris Brown. It took place at a Church in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Most Wedding Dances take place at the reception, but the Jill and Kevin did theirs at the ceremony in the church. It was totally unexpected, but they did a great job, looking at the video you can't help but smile. There have been different types of Wedding Dances at Receptions, but nothing like JK Wedding Entrance Dance, it was incredibly creative and fun.
