My husband David Lathroum and I were married at the Imperia in Somerset, NJ on April 16, 2011.
We met at Salisbury University at his fraternity's formal. I had gone as just a friend with one of David's fraternities brothers and spotted him dancing with a tie on his head (like Rambo) and knew I had to meet him. We both had the idea to do something special for our wedding that made it "ours" but I didn't want to be over the top either.
I also hoped it would land us on the Today Show but we were eclipsed by Prince William and Kate who were married two weeks after us and overtook the news. Anyway, we tossed around a few ideas and because Dirty Bit had the solos, we thought it would work as an entrance.
On behalf of my wife and I, we would like to submit our wedding video to your website. Our motivation was the JK Wedding Entrance Dance, but we feel we took the choreography to next level.
Wedding Date: 05/08/2010
Couple’s Name: Jaclyn Kasper and Robbie Daniels
A Wedding Dance inspired by the original JK Wedding Entrance Dance viral video. Thanks to my family, friends, and most important my wife this event was possible. This was my actual wedding to Masuma. My cousins Nicole and Adam help with cameras. The "opposing guns" were my cousins, Chris, Josh from the band "Yard Sale Underwear", and also singer, songwriter, and guitarist, Bobby Jackson. Our wedding was on April 30th 2010 and I think people should see what we did. It is a little controversial but I hope the people will understand the meaning.
An Amazing and Elegant Wedding Entrance from a Wedding celebration concert featuring André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra. The Bride and Groom arrived in a Horse-Drawn Wedding Carriage. They entered into the Opera house with the orchestra playing and to a standing ovation by the crowd. Very elegant and enchanting. The wedding concert took place at one of the most beautiful opera houses in the world, the famous Semper Opera in Dresden.
