Groom Justin Willman and his Bride Jillian Sipkins put on an amazing and magical wedding dance for their guests. The couple wanted to create a parody of of the show Drunk History to tell the story of their relationship. Justin is a magician and there was definitely some magic tricks in this dance which included a gravity defying move.

This Wedding Dance was performed in Baylis House, Slough, London on 03/09/15 at the Mehndi ceremony of Zoya (the bride), and Asad (the groom), a traditional pre-wedding event at Asian, particularly Pakistani weddings. The dance was performed by the bride's friends, many of whom are doctors and medical students and had to travel and set time aside to rehearse for this, often over video streams, to make the bride and groom's day that much more special.

The dance is a dramatized, Bollywood-themed re-enactment of how the bride and groom met and fell in love. There was also a dance by the groom's side which is not in the public domain but safe to say the bride's side won the dance-off. We started out with a slow dance to My Morning Jacket's "Just on thing", then went a little bit silly with Kool & The Gang's "Jungle Boogie".

Lee and Tami met on Myspace back in 2007 and eventually started dating. The dance idea was a mutual thing. They're both big fans of My Morning Jacket, and being a fan of Pulp Fiction, they wanted to throw in Kool and the Gang's "Jungle Boogie".

Cecilia and Lee were married on the 6th of April 2012. Dance was choreographed by Lee's sister Jolene.

Cecilia and I first met when she was dating a friend of mine, about a year later we met again at a nightclub where my best friend tried to pick her up, and thankfully nothing seem to happen between the two. About another year passed and our paths crossed again as we coincidentally worked at the same retail store. We started talking again and have been together ever since and were married about 5 years later.

I had wanted to do a big spectacle dance, but almost let the idea go as we knew it would be quite difficult to organize so many people to practice and do the dance, but then having dinner with two (of the 14) in the wedding party we were inspired by the party rock anthem dance to commit to doing it.
We learned the Party Rock dance from a tutorial on YouTube and the rest was choreographed by my sister Jolene who is a dance. We all practiced at her house until we were ready for the big day.
Couple: Caroline and Andy

We met 22 years ago during our first weeks at university and have always been close friends but it took until last year for us to get together. The wedding took place in The Cotswolds in the UK and our university friends were all there to share it with us. It was Caroline's idea for the dance which we choreographed together during the weeks leading up to the wedding. Everybody thinks Caroline had to get Andy to do it but he didn't need any persuasion at all! We had a brilliant time both rehearsing and on the day, and ended up doing the dance twice.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16671342472235255892noreply@blogger.com14tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6543353387936141919.post-52916306622095251572012-09-09T11:32:00.000-04:002015-09-07T17:00:25.174-04:00Veronica And Matthew's Wedding Entrance Dance
Veronica and Matthew got married on June 02, 2012 at the Industry Hills Expo Center in Industry, Hills CA.

We met at Calvary Chapel Santa Fe Springs…our home church. We both shared mutual friends and often saw each other while serving and attending church. All it took was for Veronica to go out of her way and say “hello” to me one Sunday after church. I will never forget the sparkle in my eye that day. We started to exchange messages on Facebook messages back and forth and then started to date each other a few weeks later. After much prayer on both of our parts, we heard the Lord's voice clear that He had prepared us for each other!

The proposal...
The proposal happened in New York City on top of the Rockefeller Center building! It was a beautiful night. We had an AMAZING view of New York City from 70 stories high. The proposal happened on October 11, 2011 just before midnight. I waited until the entire observation deck cleared out prior to dropping to one knee. We had just finished reading the Bible and doing our daily devotion on a nearby bench. I asked Veronica to join me to pray at the edge of the observation deck, overlooking NYC’s breathtaking view. Afterward, I began to express to Veronica what she and her daughters’ meant to me. (Veronica was widowed with two daughters from her deceased husband. Nevaeh is 7 and Zoe is 3, I am in the process of legally adopting both of them! J) How grateful to the Lord I was for them. Veronica seemed somewhat confused as to why I was getting all mushy and emotional. Especially, since the security guard on duty was pressuring us to leave. It was closing time. Veronica was still somewhat confused, but she did her best to stay focused. I then got down on one knee. I think Veronica was literally in shock! She was so caught off guard that after she said, YES, she threw my arms around me and wouldn’t let go. I don’t think I have ever been hugged so tightly in my life. I had to pry her off of me. At the end of the night, in New York City, 70 stories up, on top of the Rock, it was just the two of us. Well…there was also a security guard and two of our friends. Nevertheless, it was extremely intimate and very romantic! Unquestionably, a night the two of us will never forget! http://www.mandv.gettingmarried.us/Engagement_Slideshow.htm

The video Idea...
The big group entrance and dance was my idea! I always knew that I wanted to a big wedding party dance and Veronica was totally on board. As we asked our family and friends to be apart of our wedding party, we let them know about the dance and the commitment we were going to need from them. There were a few people that the commitment of practicing with a choreographer would be too much for them and decided not to be part of the wedding party. We totally understood their decisions as we knew what we wanted and didn't want it to be a burden to anyone. We had so much fun practicing; it united our entire wedding party. Also, we had my friend, Chris Dupre, who is one of the best choreographers in the business as our choreographer. He was so patient with all of us and he made it so much fun!!!

Couple - Travis and Megan Smyth
Married on Saturday July 14th, in Ottawa

Meg and I met here in Ottawa just over three years ago. I am a Captain in the RCAF and she is a high school teacher.
It was Meg who came up with the idea to do a dance, and she put me through the routine for about 30 minutes a night for a couple weeks leading up to the wedding.
Our wedding was held at St. Patrick's Basilica in Ottawa, while our reception (and dance) took place at the Chief Warrant's and Sergeants Mess in downtown Ottawa.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16671342472235255892noreply@blogger.com14tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6543353387936141919.post-78761789809673258092012-08-07T12:00:00.000-04:002015-09-07T16:56:57.463-04:00Groomsmen Wedding Dance - My Girl Temptations
Wedding Date: 14/07/2012
Couple's Name: Aaron Townsend & Rachel Addah

The newly wed Mr and Mrs Townsend met at the University of Manchester in 2009, initially starting out as friends and out rightly denying that they had feelings for one another despite our early suspicions, their love has blossomed before the very eyes of us as onlooking friends. The dance was the idea of the Groom, who wanted to surprise the Bride following their first dance. After hours and hours of secret practice sessions the groomsmen (Alfred, Chris, Joel, Akin, & Steve) were able to put on a glowing performance much to the joy of the guests and most importantly the Bride herself.

The Wedding reception took place on 07/14/12 at Felbridge Hotel & Spa in East Grinstead, England, UK.
A few people knew I was planning a surprise dance at my sister’s wedding and they were concerned that my sister might not like it. They didn’t realise my sister was in on it! We tried to make the beginning super cheesy and then brought my sister Noelene into it for some more cheesy old school moves… my favorite part is Noelene’s surprise dance for her new husband Paul.

Submitted by Tammy Gagne

Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16671342472235255892noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6543353387936141919.post-50962738489784116022011-11-05T13:38:00.008-04:002011-11-05T14:49:18.512-04:00Best Father Daughter Wedding Dance EverThis is the best Father Daughter Wedding Dance we have ever seen! Bride Ashley Richmond and her father David Sparks went all out with their dance and it was well choreographed. Their wedding dance video has since gone viral with over 1 million views. The father daughter duo are from Texas and practiced their dance 2 times a week for a month and a half.

The songs used in their dance was a mix of old school and new songs, starting with My Girl by The Temptations and ending with Single Ladies by Beyonce. Ashley and David recently appeared on Good Morning America recreating their dance live on television in Times Square New York. Robert and Tamara are my cousins and like most of your couples, they really wanted to do something fun and different for their wedding. So my partner and I made a special mix of their song, "I cross my heart" by George Straight, and came up with some cute moves for them to do. We practiced about 6 times over three weeks to get the dance down. We really didn't know if they were going to pull it off but they were naturals and got the moves pretty quick. From the crowds reaction you can tell that everybody loved their dance, in fact it's all anybody would talk about for the rest of the night. I was so happy to be able to help them get this done and I know that it is a memory they will cherish for the rest of their lives.

Wedding Date: August 20th, 2011
Couple's Name: Robert and Tamara VasquezAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16671342472235255892noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6543353387936141919.post-25245136494904852492011-09-09T12:22:00.003-04:002011-09-09T12:31:24.451-04:00Party Rock Anthem Surprise Wedding Dance

We started off with "The Shuffle", which is the dance to LMFAO's song "Party Rock Anthem". The rest of it was choreographed by the bride, groom and a couple of the groomsmen and bridesmaids. Todd and Megan met at work while working at Texas Roadhouse in Littleton, Colorado. Todd is 24 and Megan is 21, they were together a little over 4 years before the marriage. He proposed to her in front of a bunch of their friends and family at a family owned lake. The wedding took place at the Spruce Mountain Ranch in Larkspur, Colorado.

Todd and Megan Kack
August 26, 2011

Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16671342472235255892noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6543353387936141919.post-64848606581430916962011-09-01T11:44:00.004-04:002011-09-01T11:55:56.781-04:00Freddie and Janelle's Surprise Wedding Dance
Freddie and I have known each other since we were about 10 years old, we went to the same elementary school, middle school and high school but we never showed any interest in each other. Then 20 years later we saw each other at our 20Th high school reunion and it was love at first sight, it was like seeing each other for the first time. As we began to talk we found out that we had so much in common and to top it all off we found out that we had been living 15 miles from each for about 8 years. Somehow we never managed to run into each other but I truly believe that things happen the way they are supposed to happen and when they are supposed to happen. We have been inseparable ever since. The love we share is one of great beauty, the chemistry we have is one that we both dreamed of.

I actually came up with the idea to do the "surprise" dance for our first dance. I had been to several weddings and although the 1st dance seemed to be cute and romantic I always found it very boring to sit there and watch the bride and groom do their 1st dance. Dancing has always been one of the things I enjoy doing and it is a passion that I have. I take dance classes at one of the local gyms and I have pretty much been involved in dance since I was about 10 years old. Freddie is not a dancer, he basically has 2 left feet but he agreed to do it out of love. I choreographed the dance and I actually had to make a lot of changes to it to suit him and his abilities. It took him about 6 months to learn it and at times he tried to talk me out of it so I had to beg him and make a lot promises to him to get him to cooperate. Learning the dance together was very stressful but when we look back at the video we both laugh and smile; we are so glad that we did it, it was so much fun and our friends and family are still talking about it till this day. Only a couple of people knew it was going to happen, everyone else was totally surprised.

Laurie and I met at the Atlanta (Briarcliff/LaVista) Whole Foods Market on December 28, 2009. It was truly an amazing meeting where we learned we had an incredible amount of things in common including; both originally being from Chicago, our parents living on the same street one neighborhood apart and me being a licensed mental health therapist while she is in a Masters program to become a counselor.

Our relationship quickly evolved and on September 28, 2010, Laurie and I returned to the Whole Foods store where I proposed at the exact spot where we met. Soon afterwards, while in Chicago (making wedding preparations) our amazing story was recorded at a Whole Foods store there for a local morning television program. It later aired and below you will find the link allowing you to see our story. http://www.wciu.com/youandme.php?section=home&assets=videos&assetID=10003825
We wanted to do something that has never been done before at a wedding. My husband is actually a martial arts expert, he owns a mixed martial arts school in New Jersey, Infinity Martial Arts. One day at his school, I saw him teaching his students how to use the nunchucks. He demonstrated by using two nunchucks while techno music was playing in the background. After that, a light bulb went off in my head and I told him to teach me how to use them 6 to 7 months before the wedding day. I am not a martial arts expert but I practiced those nunchucks every week until the wedding. The practices paid off well as it fooled a lot of people into believing I was a nunchucks expert.

We were inspired by "evolution of dance" and watched many videos for ideas, we really enjoyed Brian and Katie's version. So we decided to do our own evolution of dance, with a few changes to the music. One of our challenges was that we had audience all around us, so there was no such thing as "facing the front"! We also had a pole in the middle of the dance floor because the reception was in a stretch tent. We only found out about the pole the night before the wedding so we had to quickly adjust our dance around it!

Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16671342472235255892noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6543353387936141919.post-75544207113976894472011-07-23T10:39:00.003-04:002011-07-23T10:45:52.859-04:00Surprise Flash Mob Wedding Dance

Alex and David were married on June 26, 2011 at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. We decided to surprise everyone with a dance inside our first dance that included our bridesmaids and groomsmen. Most of our bridal party was out of state so we choreographed it and then recorded the dance and sent it to them so they could learn it. We practiced it only once secretly on our wedding day in the tiny Brides room-this was so funny because we had to keep pausing the music and acting like nothing was going on when someone would open the door! The time we "performed" it was only the second time we had done it with the whole bridal party.

No one had any idea we were planning this and it was a blast! The looks on the faces of our family and friends were priceless :D

Our Wedding Date was August 8, 2009 - Mark and Kjersti HelbergAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16671342472235255892noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6543353387936141919.post-24366809690353639802011-04-29T18:26:00.004-04:002011-04-29T18:33:54.612-04:00Congratulations Prince William and Kate MiddletonCongratulations to Prince William and Kate Middleton who had their Royal Wedding today!
We wish you a lifetime of happiness and love!

Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16671342472235255892noreply@blogger.com2
