Best Wedding Dances | See Funny Surpise Wedding Dance Videos: September 2011

My name is Abad and I would like to submit the attached wedding dance video to be part of your blog. Robert and Tamara are my cousins and like most of your couples, they really wanted to do something fun and different for their wedding. So my partner and I made a special mix of their song, "I cross my heart" by George Straight, and came up with some cute moves for them to do. We practiced about 6 times over three weeks to get the dance down. We really didn't know if they were going to pull it off but they were naturals and got the moves pretty quick. From the crowds reaction you can tell that everybody loved their dance, in fact it's all anybody would talk about for the rest of the night. I was so happy to be able to help them get this done and I know that it is a memory they will cherish for the rest of their lives.

We started off with "The Shuffle", which is the dance to LMFAO's song "Party Rock Anthem". The rest of it was choreographed by the bride, groom and a couple of the groomsmen and bridesmaids. Todd and Megan met at work while working at Texas Roadhouse in Littleton, Colorado. Todd is 24 and Megan is 21, they were together a little over 4 years before the marriage. He proposed to her in front of a bunch of their friends and family at a family owned lake. The wedding took place at the Spruce Mountain Ranch in Larkspur, Colorado.

Flash Mob Dance with Bride and her friends.

Freddie and I have known each other since we were about 10 years old, we went to the same elementary school, middle school and high school but we never showed any interest in each other. Then 20 years later we saw each other at our 20Th high school reunion and it was love at first sight, it was like seeing each other for the first time. As we began to talk we found out that we had so much in common and to top it all off we found out that we had been living 15 miles from each for about 8 years. Somehow we never managed to run into each other but I truly believe that things happen the way they are supposed to happen and when they are supposed to happen. We have been inseparable ever since. The love we share is one of great beauty, the chemistry we have is one that we both dreamed of.

I actually came up with the idea to do the "surprise" dance for our first dance. I had been to several weddings and although the 1st dance seemed to be cute and romantic I always found it very boring to sit there and watch the bride and groom do their 1st dance. Dancing has always been one of the things I enjoy doing and it is a passion that I have. I take dance classes at one of the local gyms and I have pretty much been involved in dance since I was about 10 years old. Freddie is not a dancer, he basically has 2 left feet but he agreed to do it out of love. I choreographed the dance and I actually had to make a lot of changes to it to suit him and his abilities. It took him about 6 months to learn it and at times he tried to talk me out of it so I had to beg him and make a lot promises to him to get him to cooperate. Learning the dance together was very stressful but when we look back at the video we both laugh and smile; we are so glad that we did it, it was so much fun and our friends and family are still talking about it till this day. Only a couple of people knew it was going to happen, everyone else was totally surprised.
